One of the most handsome German actors, Jannis Niewöhner was born in 1992 in Krefeld. He started his career at the age of 14, when he played the leading role of Tristan in the movie Das Jahr der ersten Küsse ( = The year of the first kisses). His 2008 German-French comedy movie Absurdistan was screened at the Sundance Film Festival. He was also part of the Netflix series Sense8.
German male actor Florian Bartholomäi was born in 1987 in Frankfurt (Main). He became famous through sideroles in the German tv hit series Tatort ( = Crime scene) in which he often played the murderer. Between 2012 an 2015, he was part of the famous Ruby Red Triloy in which Bartholomäi played Paul de Villiers.
Louis Hofmann was born in 1997 in Bensburg. One of the most promising Gema actors became interested in acting while filming a leisure activities column for a small German tv channel between 2006 and 2008. Hofmann is considered as character actor, who made a name for himself in the 2015 German-Danish co-production Unter dem Sand ( = Below the sand) and the tv drama Freistatt. In 2017, he starred in Matthias Schweighöfers Amazon series You are Wanted.
Jannik Schüman was born in 1992 in Hamburg. His affection to dancing brought him the role of the young Mozart in the German musical adaptation when he was only nine years old. His major breakthrough as a German actor came in 2011 with his role in the movie Homevideo, in which he played intriguer Henry who puts online a compromising video of his classmate Jakob. In 2015 tv drama Mein Sohn Helen ( = My son Helen), one of the most promising German actors played a 16 year olf boy, who wants to live as a girl after a year abroad in France.
In 2017, Schümann starred in the novel adaption of Jugend ohne Gott (= Youth Without God), the comedy High Society and Wim Wender’s international thriller Submergence.
Frederick Lau was born in 1989 in Berlin. The former judo champion achieved his breakthrough with the school drama Die Welle ( = The wave), for which he won the 2008 German Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. A second Lola followed in 2015 as the best actor for the film experiment Victoria. In 2017, Lau starred in the Berlin gangster mini-series 4 Blocks and alongside David Kross in the road movie Simpel ( = Simple).
He is married and has two children.
